Dunlavin Club Notes

Well done to the St Nicholas Minor boys who bounced back from defeat last week to beat Barndarrig convincingly on Sunday morning, after a few training sessions the lads are now once again getting in gear for their pursuit of silverware in 2012!

Our juniors again had the Weekend off as they awaited to see who they would meet in the final of the Ovington cup 2012 and on Saturday it was confirmed as Kiltegan who beat Lacken in the decider! So Its all roads leading to Valleymount next Sunday afternoon at 3 o clock to play Kiltegan in the final, we expect plenty of support for Dunlavin in Valleymount for what has been a very successful junior winter tournament. Good luck lads!!

The Club extends its deepest sympathy to the Carmody Family on the passing of Paddy, Not everybody will remember Paddys Antique shop in Dunlavin in the 80s & 90s where currently Marvin Windows are located, a great character around the village, his grandson Paraig is currently a highly rated footballer with the St Nicholas u16s , our thoughts are with all of Paddys family at this sad time.

The club would also like to make note and wish a speedy recovery to all of our ill Members and loyal supporters at this time and we look forward to their continued support and seeing their faces once again at Dunlavin Gaa football matches and social events in the future.
