All-Ireland Hurling Blitz ready to roll
THE cream of Ireland’s emerging young hurling talent will be on display in Carlow on Saturday, June 30 2012 when Carlow Town Hurling Club host the All-Ireland under-16 blitz for another challenging encounter .
A total of 40 teams will battle it out for the ‘A’ and ‘B’ titles in a day of budding hurling skills in an event that has always presented players and manager with a unique opportunity to assess themselves and their teams against the best opposition in the game.
A total of eight venues will be used in Carlow Town and throughout the county for the staging of games. The closing date for entries (€300 per club) is Friday, June 17.

Leinster Under 16 Hurling Blitz

Carlow Town Hurling Club on Saturday 30th June 2012 .
I have been directed by my club to provide you with an application form for the above blitz. Please note the following relevant details: -
- This is a one day event commencing at 10.30 a.m. and ends at 1.30 p.m. approx..
- The blitz is a 15-a-side event with 5 substitutes allowed
- It will be run in two separate sections A & B on a league basis ,. Both sections will have four groups of five teams , winners of each group will enter the semi –finals
- Official party is 20 players plus three adults. A meal will be provided for all participants.
- Blitz is limited to 20 teams on a first-come first-served basis
- Entry fee is €300.00
- Closing date for completed application forms , with fee, is Friday 17th June 2012
- Before entering clubs should ensure proper clearance from their County Secretary
- Teams will be graded to the best of our ability.
